The CAMICBSM (Community Association Managers International Certification Board) and SEIU Local-1 have approved our course, “A Community Association Manager’s Guide to Water Damage” to fulfill continuing education requirements for the CMCA® certification.

We have served the restoration needs of property managers for more than three decades and as a result of listening closely, the content of these courses can be of significant assistance to promote better outcomes and to retain greater control during losses.

In our “A Community Association Manager’s Guide to Water Damage” CE Course, ACR’s Master Water Restorer, Michael Smolka will take a deep-dive into the following:

  • Classifications of water damage

  • How to determine whether restoration or replacement is needed

  • What costs are associated with each determination, and

  • How to make a final determination to repair or replace

MEET THE SPEAKER:

Michael Smolka holds three of the most sought-after advanced designations in the restoration industry;

  • CR (Certified Restorer/RIA)

  • WLS (Water Loss Specialist/RIA)

  • MWR (Master Water Restorer/IICRC)

  • CCHR-S (Certified Healthcare Remediator Supervisor)

He is also an approved instructor for CAI and SEIU Local 1 for continuing education.

With 14 years in the restoration industry, Michael is at the pinnacle of professional education and among approximately 200 individuals at this level of achievement.

Mike is a key player in the development of ACR’s gym floor restorative drying expertise and is commonly the manager designing the custom containment and directing the on-site process.

Mike has also been involved in tabletop exercises for disaster recovery. He has been involved in numerous school and commercial mold, fire, and water losses.
