Job Title: Restoration Coordinator
Reports To:
Director of Construction Services, Joe Ackerley
SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator’s role is crucial to the success of the construction department. Candidate will control workflow, schedule assignments, evaluate course of the project and report its status. The responsibilities of this position are primarily focused on assisting the Construction Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks. This role will prepare you for a career in Project Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES included but are not limited to:
Providing a high-level quality of work. This is a detail-oriented position
Documenting and follow up with multiple stakeholders
Determining referral sources for projects and confirming appointments
Collecting information from insurance carriers including coverage, benefits & deductibles
Maintaining clear, accurate and timely communication with customers, homeowners, insurance adjusters, property managers, etc.
Updating and uploading all required documents/notes/photos to multiple software programs
Obtaining job related permits, insurance bonds, COI, etc.
Answering phones and collecting accurate data from customers
EXTRAS
Assist Project Leads in coordinating subcontractors, temp labor, etc.
Positive, professional demeanor with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Additional responsibilities as needed
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of DASH/MICA/ENCIRCLE/MOISTURE MAPPER recommended
Construction or Restoration Industry experience a plus; Xactimate knowledge preferred; Good organizational and documentation skills required.
