ACR FEATURED ON THE COVER OF 2023 CHIEF ENGINEER MAGAZINE

ACR is the FEATURE COVER STORY in the March 2023 Issue of Chief Engineering Magazine

When confidentiality was priority for this prominent government agency, ACR knew exactly what to do!

ACR’s Project Manager, Eric Brophy, and Director of Operations, John Schaefer, were interviewed for Chief Engineering’s recent cover story: “Disaster Remediation in a Secure Environment”.

In the feature, they describe the highly sensitive nature of working with a prominent government agency in Cook County, Illinois on a fire-turned-water-sprinkler disaster emergency where top-secret files were at risk.

The catch was that the files weren’t able to be removed from the building while the damage was assessed or while the items were restored, making the process a delicate one to remedy from start to finish. Add to the fact that it was critical that these items were accessible and consulted around the clock.

And this is where differentiation comes in where ACR is concerned. Lots of other restoration service companies may have the same equipment to do the work. But this is a job that requires more than just the right tools. It takes tact, it takes insight, and it takes properly trained and qualified personnel.
— John Schaefer CR, WLS, ACR's Director of Operations

When there is a building fire, smoke, soot, and ashes are to be expected. When a sprinkler system expels water, consequential water damage and the potential for mold are par for the course, but because of the highly secure nature of this agency, there were additional obstacles to overcome.
